IT’S NEVER WHITE BY SIMILOLUWA BABAFEMI

                                             It’s never white

Don’t look at me like a saint
I am still learning to paint
To paint and make it white
But really, on my part it’s a fight

                                                          I have my gains

I have been hurt
I have been burnt
I have my sturdiness
I have my weakness
Whichever way, I love my life
That’s why I still smile and laugh without strife
Don’t think otherwise
Cos misconception is on the rise
Don’t be in a hurry to judge
Cos everyone has a story in this world so hold no grudge
It’s never white
But hopefully one day there would be light
And the crooked part would be straight
And expectantly all would be great.
