3 MOUNT ZION MOVIES EVERY SINGLE SHOULD WATCH THIS YEAR

Hi everyone. As you perceived I have not uploaded a post in a while. Am so sorry. I have been lazy, but thank God, today is a special day and I am just going to do a quick review of the movies I watched during the lazy period. Am sure you understand. I am not the only one in this shoe, we all feel lazy at times.

1.    Family Riot
This movie by Damilola Bamiloye is amazing. It portrays a religious family that spends time in devotion; however, they are far away from God emotionally. They have grudges with one another and they have holier than thou attitude. They also pretend to be a perfect family until God steps in to transform them. They reconcile with one another and becomes a better family. I learnt from the movie that God makes all the difference in the lives of a Christian and in a family. Additionally, I learnt that God detest religiosity but wants a personal relationship with us his children. He wants us to commune with him like a father to son and daughter. He wants to heal our wounds and he has a better plan for us than we have for ourselves. Lastly, one thing I love about the movie is that it’s like a diary. The story was narrated by a little boy who is a member of the family.
2.    Empty Proposal
“Empty Proposal” is also from the producer of “Family Riot”. It’s a short movie of 11 minutes and 12 seconds.  Empty Proposal” presents a man and lady who embark on a roller coaster relationship for nine years without marriage in mind. The lady receives a proposal and a ring that prevents other men from approaching her. Whenever the lady enquires from the man about marriage, he keeps telling her that God’s time is the best. He also adds that he is not ready and he would love to be financially stable. The movie is lesson filled as it addresses the issues most single grabble with on a daily basis. It is therefore important to note that from the onset of a relationship, the end plan should be discussed. I mean one should define the relationship and know when a marriage will come up.
3.    War of Silence

Damilola Bamiloye’s “War of Silence portrays relationships with hidden secrets, which eventually tears them apart. The inability of the man to open up about his past causes lack of trust. One important lesson is that the past at times rises to hurt the future, that is why it is necessary to be open about the past.

Thanks for reading.I value you.
